Help cook and/or serve a meal at Homeless Shelter

Volunteer at the local Food Bank

Set up food collection bins in stores, banks, movie theaters, and schools

Take children from the Homeless Shelter on an outing

Assist with day-care at your local shelter - taking care of children while parents look for jobs

Contact a homeless shelter in your community and see if they already have a reading center and set up a Reading Hour where you bring books to share and leave behind

Collect items to deliver to homeless shelters - blankets, sheets, towels, toys, books, disposable diapers.

Organize a Cloth Drive in your community and donate the proceeds.
